Express Wood Blinds are made from kiln-dried basswood, the highest quality wood available on the market. Basswood naturally creates a rich appearance and is warp resistant. These are not cheap wood blinds; they are of the same quality as our Signature Wood Blinds, but come in a limited color selection and with standard controls. This allows us to manufacture them at a reduced cost.
We offer 4 popular finishes for these blinds: Pure White, Vivid White, Golden Oak, and Cherry. These blinds feature a heavy-duty cord tilt mechanism that allows a tighter closure of the slats than wand tilters. The lift cord comes on the right, tilter cord comes on the left.
The quality of the headrail is the key to a long lasting and worry free blind. Our headrail system far exceeds the standards accepted by many manufacturers. All of our headrails feature a heavy gauge steel outer casing. This adds necessary strength even over wide spans. The tilter mechanism has a single nylon gear that is the smoothest on the market.
