HOW TO MEASURE YOUR WINDOWS
Notes:
- Finished shade height may not be exactly as specified if the exact dimension falls in the middle of a wide slat.
- Finished product height may have a tolerance of +1/2”.
- Use a metal tape measure for all measurements

Measuring for inside mounted blinds
- Measure the width of window opening at 3 different places and use the narrowest dimension for ordering. The factory will take a small allowance off of your measurements for operating clearance unless you specify otherwise. Your
measurement should be the exact opening size to the nearest 1/16".
- Measure the height of the window from the top of the opening to the top of the sill in 2 places.
- Take all measurements flush with the wall.
- To install the product flush with the window frame a minimum window depth of 2" is required.

Measuring for outside mounted blinds
- Measure the exact width of the area to be covered. It is recommended that 3" be added to the product width for the standard overlap.
- Measure the height of the area to be covered. Measure from the ceiling or desired point above the window to approx. 1 1/2" below the window frame.
