There is a lot to know about choosing the right treatments for your home. That's why it is our policy at The Blindman ® to educate. The more you know about different products and services the better armed you can be to make your decision with confidence. Our best customer is an educated customer.

Q: How much does it cost to have someone give us a bid?

A: The Blindman ® offers free in-home estimates with no charge to you.

Q: How far in advanced should I schedule an appointment?

A: Typically we can arrange a Blindman rep to be available for you on the following day. We try and keep our schedules open to accommodate the most convenient times for you, including evenings and weekends.

Q: How long does an estimate take?

A: That depends on the number of windows. For an average home with 20 windows, and using our state of the art quoting software, a typical estimate will take 20-30 minutes, although we wouldn't hesitate to take whatever time you need to make sure you have all the information you require.

Q: How will your prices compare to other companies?

A: We guarantee that as long as the combined products and services are compared using apples to apples, we will match our beat any of our competitor's prices.

Q: Do you warrantee your products?

A: All Blindman ® products are covered under our limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship and installation of the product.

Q: How does your warrantee compare to other companies?

A: Most blind companies offer some sort of warranty on their products, the most important thing to take into consideration is the length of time they have been in business. After all, a warranty only lasts as long as the company who is offering it stays in business. That's why it's important to make sure you work with a company who has a solid track record.

Q: How long have you been in business?

A: We have been in business for 18 years, and plan to be for another 100 years.

Q: Do you employ your installers or do you 'farm it out'?

A: Unlike many companies in the industry, we have found it very important to employ our own factory trained installers. It makes it possible to maintain our high standard of quality control, and further warrantee our installations.

Q: Why should it be important to me that you have a showroom?

A: Our presence at our physical location, aside from beautifully displaying our products, gives our current customers confidence that if anything should go wrong with their window treatments, that they know where to find us. It also brings ease to our potential buyers that if they give us a check, they will receive their product. We don't work out of the 'trunk of our car', and we will be here tomorrow.

Q: How do I pay for my product?

A: If you pay by cash or check, we accept half down, and the other half upon installation of the order. If you pay by credit card, we run the full amount up front. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
